Jim and Carlene Cunningham live in the Central Valley of California and are in the beef cattle business. The Cunningham Ranch was established in 1851 and is one of the oldest ranches in California. We are members of the Merced Camera Club and the San Joaquin Valley Council of Camera Clubs. Photography is a serious hobby and vacations are usually planned around it. We show competively in numerous competitions locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. It seems that are main focus is nature, wildlife and landscape but will try most anything except people pictures. We judge many competitions from camera clubs to fairs and anything in between. We have traveled far and wide to obtain some of our images, places like Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Svalbard Islands and Mexico. We like to travel where there are not big crowds but great photography. I (Jim) have made about 20 trips down the Grand Canyon rafting and 4 times have snowmobiled Yellowstone on 4 day 300 mile trips. There are many wonderful and beautiful places still to visit, stand by....... We have met some absolutely wonderful people through our interest in photography. The members of the Merced Camera Club are the greatest and the San Joaquin Council members are equally as nice, even though they are trying hard to beat Merced. We hope you enjoy our images and we will be adding new ones often.
